PALMIRA MIDSCHOOL BOARDINGHOUSE 

 

The most important project of Fundación Cecilia is the support to Palmira Boarding House, located in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. 

 

 This boarding school has an approximate population of 270 girls between 11 and 15 years old, from the states of Guerrero, Oaxaca, Puebla, Veracruz, Morelos and Mexico City. At their homes, they do not have the necessary resources to receive education, food and well-being, as well as an optimal emotional development.

 

 It is important to explain that many of the girls who arrive at the boardinghouse have suffered abandonment, sexual abuse, extreme violence, sex trafficking, malnutrition and that, due to the customs of their own communities.
